Mark A. Klimiuk, Founder

Mark founded RadiantBlue Technologies in May 2005 and was President of the company since its inception. On February 1, 2010 Mark lost his battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) and died peacefully at his home in Colorado Springs at the age of 45.

Prior to founding RadiantBlue Mark was Director of Mission Programs for Intelligence Data Systems, Inc., a high-technology and professional services firm supporting the U.S. intelligence community. Previously, as Director of MASINT Technologies for Boeing Space and Intelligence Systems, Mark was instrumental in the founding and leadership of a corporate technical center of excellence focused on the development of software and systems for advanced geospatial intelligence. Additionally, he was a deputy group manager for Autometric, Inc. prior to Boeing’s acquisition of the firm. Mark was also a Senior Vice President and General Manager for ASI Technologies, a leading provider of photogrammetric mapping and geographic information system (GIS) services.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Kansas with a concentration in Computer Engineering. He received certification as a photogrammetrist from the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing.

Mark loved the great outdoors. He enjoyed mountain climbing, fishing, collecting fossils, and camping with his family. Mark climbed all of Colorado’s fourteen thousand foot peaks (aka 14ers). Mark is survived by his wife Theresa, his three sons John, Andrew, and David, and his two step-children Tyler and Sarah.
