Modeling and Simulation Analyst Level II – Chantilly, VA

RadiantBlue Technologies is seeking two modeling, simulation, and analysis engineers to support government and industry customers in the greater Northern Virginia/Washington, D.C./Maryland area. Applicants should have demonstrated abilities working as an individual contributor on analytical study efforts. Communication and interpersonal skills are a must. The position entails performing analyses in support of present and future ISR Systems and Systems of Systems. Tasking may include time-sensitive, quick-turn studies and long-term analyses. The employee will act under the direction of senior technical and management staff to: collect customer requirements, develop study plans, setup simulation runs, perform Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) of model setup and results, execute simulation runs, reduce and analyze large data sets, develop custom post processing analysis tools and generate final reports for customers. Additionally, the employee will frequently present complex technical analysis results to government and industry customers under the supervision of management and senior technical personnel. Candidates must be willing to work constructively in dynamic team environment for a small, agile business unit that is growing rapidly.

Position Requirements:

  • 5 or more years of experience in the design, development, modeling and analysis of complex air and space defense and intelligence systems
  • BS in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or related degree
  • 2 or more years direct experience in System or System of Systems level simulation and analysis of intelligence and/or military systems
  • 2 or more years direct experience in the application of complex mathematical algorithms to intelligence and/or military utility analysis
  • 2 or more years direct experience in the development of analytical software tools applied to intelligence and/or military utility analysis
  • Basic knowledge of astrodynamics, remote sensing, space craft design, aerospace systems operations, complex systems integration, requirements development and aerospace systems procurement
  • Selected applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph

Preferred Experience/Knowledge:

  • MS or PhD in one of the above listed disciplines
  • Recent experience in software development using C++, MATLAB, VBA and/or SQL
  • Experience with network modeling and net-centric warfare concepts
  • Willingness to grow into a technical leadership and/or project management role
