Open Source Software Image Map

RadiantBlue drives the development of the Open Source Software Image Map (OSSIM), a series of high performance software libraries employing the latest techniques in object oriented software design. OSSIM includes a number of command line utilities, GUI tools and applications, within the baseline.

RadiantBlue develops and supports OSSIM’s advanced geospatial processing capabilities which include:

  • Parallel processing capabilities with MPI libraries
  • Rigorous sensor modeling
  • Universal sensor models (RPCs)
  • Supports a wide range of map projections and datums
  • Non-destructive, parameter based image chains
  • Native file access
  • Precision terrain correction and orthorectification
  • Advanced mosaicking, compositing, and fusions
  • Elevation support
  • Vector and Shapelib support
  • Projection and resolution independent
  • Equation editors
  • Histogram matching and tonal balancing

Using OSSIM, RadiantBlue develops and supports high performance software systems for remote sensing, image processing, geographical information systems and photogrammetry. Our developers have years of experience working with all aspects of commercial and government remote sensing systems and applications.
