We are seeking a software test engineer to join a software development team responsible for the enhancement and support of software applications used for the collection, visualization, and analysis of intelligence data. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that new software enhancements function according to specification and customer requirements. You’ll work closely with the software development team to analyze requirements and develop and document appropriate test plans and procedures. Testing activities cover all aspects of the software and its integrated hardware systems including regression, system, and integration tests. You will be accountable for maintaining a high level of software quality and encouraged to pursue innovative approaches to help the team achieve its goals. The Software Test Engineer may also assist in product support including field and operational testing, software training, marketing demonstrations, and technical consulting.

Position Requirements:

• Knowledge in software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for quality software and customer/user advocacy
• A government issued security clearance is not required to be eligible for this position. However, the applicant selected will be subject to a Background Investigation (BI) and be eligible for the issuance of a final government security clearance within a reasonable time after the offer is extended. US Citizenship Required.

Preferred Experience/Knowledge:

• Knowledge and understanding of wireless communications technologies
• Experience in agile and iterative software development practices
• Experience designing and writing test procedures
• Experience in test automation
• Proficient with Linux and Windows OS
